Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driver side power window is the problem.  All the other windows work fine.  power window switch module was replaced last Sep.2012, new item, made in China.  Does the regulator need replacing?

other gurus are already hating me for suggesting this, but 1.) get a new battery (old ones will last max 10 years) 2.) find the non clamper end of the black cable that connects to the chassis ground, take a wirebrush and brush until you see shiny metal, clean the washer and bolt too, put it back together and now 3.) the 1/0 battery cable going to the motor.....some are "weaved ground straps" don't mess with those~ with fresh power from your new battery---renewed power=strike up the band~
