Question type: General

My transmission keeps slipping and i was told i
might need a whole new transmission or just
maybe needs fluid if so does it nees to be in park
or nuetral to check transmission fluid

Park on level ground and engine running.

Yes, check the level first. If it is fine, then time to see a pro. Because slipping means the clutches inside the trans are burnt requiring a rebuild in most cases. But a diagnosis is required to make sure.
