I just bought a 1998 toyota camry it has 119000 miles , I dont know if the timing belt was changed. what should i do.

At 119,000 miles I'd recommend changing it. Most manufacturers want you to change it every 60,000 miles. So even if it was replaced once it's coming due again at 120,000 miles. HTH. -Jim

I agree. Change it. Nobody selling a car is going to spend money or time on a large maintenance item.
