"Hole in the piping", which tells me you put a hole/cracked the exhaust. Not sure why it stopped on you. Could be something else got damaged.

Some vehicles have what is called an inertia switch, not sure if your model has it, but if you hit something hard enough the switch will pop and the rig wont start.
