My 93 Camry won't shift up unless I let off the gas, if I don't it just keeps increasing rpms won't shift itself. What could be causing this? I was think shifting solenoid but im not sure

Definitely a transmission problem. If it's not electronic control I'd suspect a bad vacuum modulator or dirty/worn valve body in the transmission. HTH. -Jim
