I have a 1991 Toyota Camry it will start but shuts off after 10 minutes of running what's the problem

It sounds like an electrical issue caused by heat. I'd start with the main relay under the hood.

If it run,s and then shut,s down as you say,check the fuel pressure,may be fuel pump is getting hot and bad.

How quickly will it start back up after it dies?

Electrical issue are so hard to diagnose. especially on the internet. You will need someone to look at it with you.
