almost a month that this code came up

Most likely the knock sensor went bad, I usually replace them when I pull a head for any kind of head work also when I do a freeze plug replacement job.

Thats what I was thinking that the knock sesor fried,do you know anything about drilling the block of the engine to put the knock sensor on the outside and not take everything apart and run the wire where the new spot and knock sensor will go. what do you mean by feeze plug replacement job?

The block should already be knock sensor ready, there maybe a bolt in it to keep the crud out. Freeze plugs are the small metal pugs that are in the block and heads that eventually go bad and start leaking.

I am having rhe same problem code 52 knock sensor purchaced a new one. When i atart the truck it runs fine for like 30 min then check engine light pops up and start to get a bit boggy fuel economy suffers a bit. And idles rougher thwn usual. Mechanic told me it soumds like my motor is running of 5 cylinders. Which qould explain konda why the truck runs fine then the code 52 comes up im leaning toward the ignition system spark plugs alternator fuel injectors ectany input ?

Try unscrewing the knock sensor from the block and wire it up out of the way so it just hangs in the air, clear the code and drive it, if the code comes back then something is wrong in either the engine management wiring or the computer has a programming glitch, if it doesn't come back then it is picking up something inside the engine that is causing the computer to read it as a ping, I have seen over advanced base timing cause this,, so make sure it is set right.
