The motor was recently rebuilt and has been sitting for five years in the truck. I ran all the gas out thinking that would be good.the fuel pump works but I can't get gas to the intake.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Should I just take the fuel rails and injectors
and soak them in something? And why am I
not getting gas to the top?

Most likely there's varnish in the fuel lines. I'd recommend replacing the fuel pump and thoroughly cleaning the gas tank, fuel lines, and fuel injectors. Five years is a long time. HTH -Jim
