how do i change the engine mounts
Its actually simple if you have a 2 ton jack and an engine hoister. Secure the engine with the jack, loosen the old mounts, attach the engine hoist, remove the old mounts and light the engine out of the car, replace the mounts, lower the engine back in, secure the mounts. Some newer vehicles have engine mounts and then torque mounts (aka transmission mounts) that regulate vibration from the tranny, make sure you are replacing the right one. Best of luck (a shop quoted me $475 to do this on my Saturn, I did it for $70 with the parts off Amazon)! Take care.
I would YouTube question and c if anyone has video on it, or buy Hanes or Chilton book, or just try but make sure u know wat or doing, u could break, or bend something or worse get hurt. Its not always as easy as u think if u've never done it.
