what can be the problem ,i have no take off power,an i lose power some times
trans, stuck in 3rd gear?no one two shift?timing belt jump a tooth or so?one or other ck. it out
automatic or stick...if auto, check your fluid level hot with the engine running....its should be cheery red not brown or black (god forbid)- if it's a manual transmission would look at the transmission mounts for setting the controls askew~
does it idle/run okay...sound like it does, timing belt was done already? would hope you've gone through at least two belts...92 by crackie~
Have the transmission fluid and filter changed. See if they can adjust the transmission bands.
it just has no power ,the engien great no over heating ,well this is what i had done ,timeing belt walter pump, alternator, tune up raidiator, brakes, exoste catlac ,dist ,dist cap ,rotor cap wiers ,plugs ,ect what can make this 4 runer lose power on take off it takes a wiel to get up to speed ...and the rpm is at 4000 rpm untell i start driven it an it cliams up to 5-6-7-an its in the red zone ,on the rpm
ok thanks bro i,ll look in to that
