Asked by serafin358 Feb 12, 2010 at 09:24 AM about the 1990 Toyota 4Runner 4 Dr SR5 V6 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

if i drove for 30 minutes and turn off the engine it will not start again I have to wait for 3 hours cooling time to start it again and also when driving and I come to a stop light it hesitate to move or move very slow before it will pick speed again.

first if you have a distributor then its a bad controler in side if you have coil packs then an ignition module is either below coil packs or built in to coil pack assembly

    Had to take out battery to be charged put it back in and reconnected terminals horn blared so disconnected the horn . I have headlights but no dash lights and truck won't start...please help
