Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so i hit a concrete parking slab and my
positive terminal jumped the battery while I was in
reverse. I placed it in park and the car was dead. I
went to the hood and noticed  the positive terminal
was off. I replaced the positive terminal and went
to start the car and no start no crank. Interior lights
dont work power windows and door locks do not
work button to get into the trunk does not work.
Horn works radio works head lights work manually
and all fuses check out good. Had it towed and my
mechanic checked it out and said I was not getting
spark to my spark plugs. He stated it could be an
electric problem. I also called a Locksmith and he
stated my bcm was communicating and that my
tdm was communicating as well. Any
suggestions?

could be a master fuse that is blown. I know on some cars they have this to protect your cars electrical components. I know for a fact they blow if you jump the car with jumper cables on the wrong terminals of your battery. but if this is not it. check the ground wires. or try a new battery

Had a mechanic look at the car a Locksmith and now at the dealership with a new bcm back in place. I'm on my 3rd new battery. Checked all fuses and they check out all good I was desperate I even tried to hot wire the car from positive to the ecm fuse it cranked but would not roll over. $167 for the bcm $144 for flashing the bcm at the dealership and $70 for a tow truck.

This happened to me too. Go into your radio menu, and set your car back to manufacture settings. Leave your key in and in accessory position for 10 minutes after you reset your manufacture settings. I know it makes no sense. But it worked.
