I have a 2006 Impala and just discovered that the heater is only working on the passenger side of the car. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

when I switch the air control to heat on the drivers side it is nothing but cold air but when the passenger side is switched to heat it gets hot.
Is there a fuse to check or could this be something under the hood?

Most likely a blend door issue. I had the same problem in my GTP (except I was getting heat on the driver's side). The blend door motor had went out in my case.

It is a job.. I paid to have mine done (mostly because I had spare cash at the time). I googled 'Chevy Blend Door Actuator Replacement' and there are some detailed youtube videos explaining how to do it.
