Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to remove the chrome trim on the back of my 2006 Chevy Impala to get
at the rust under it. Does anyone know if it can be removed without damaging
it, and if possible how to reinstall? Thanks to anyone who can help!

Most trim these days is stuck on with double stick tape. Heat can loosen the glue.
