06 Chevy impala blow COLD air ONLY!!!
I have an 06 Chevy Impala that only blows out cold air at all times. I don't know what it could be also does anyone know if this is going to be expensive to fix? It used to do the "flopping noise" when i bought it but got it "fixed" by the owner.
Step #1 raise Hood-Step # 2 Start the car # 3 is Radiator Fan Engaged?,Yes Then Fan Relay is bad: No? Then see if it Engages when Coolant temp reaches mid range(Normal) Yes then feel top Radiator Hose Hot? Good-------Cold Then coolant isn't moving . New Cars could be Air-Lock ,caused by Topping off Coolant for what ever Reason or something in system has been replaced: example Rad. Hose or Thermostat; My opinion Air- Lock- Bleed the air out; One other Possability The valve that allows Coolant to flow through Heater core is Stuck in the closed position. hope this helps
I have an 02' that air locks every 2 weeks... Thought is was a bad thermostat, changed it 2xs. We bleed the air out and it is good for another 2 weeks... ANY idea?
