2001 subaru OEM Radio lights won't light
my 2001 subaru outback OEM radio won't light up, the radio works but i can not see the display at all I can see the stations in the daytime but at night i can't see anything
Hi Kinker, honestly, it's not worth trying to fix this, there are lots of really great radios on the market today, I would personally look for an Alpine.
Thanks Mark , plus i know it doesn't come in very well either on some stations ( my favorites of course )
Kinker, if you can afford it and depending upon how much time and enjoyment you get from the radio, you might consider Sirius satellite radio. I called them and played "Let's Make a Deal ", and it worked! You don't have to pay the full amount for that service. We went to Death Valley earlier this year and let me tell you there's no regular radio reception there of any kind, but, Sirius works. It's broadcast from a satellite in space, so, it works everywhere and they've got great programming just like you remember from the 60s with real people and calls to the station from listeners, very cool. If you want to go that direction, Google Sirius and check it out and see what radios work and any deals they have going on right now.
