Have a 2001 Subaru Outback.  The radio and dashboard lights are out and cruise control
won't work.  All fuses are good.

This has happen to me as we'll, went to Subie dealer and was told that I would need a new radio for around $600 And I said" I could possibly use an aftermarket radio?", and they said "no!" Your radio is tied in with your dashboard circuitry and it still won't guarantee you that it will solve the problem. Mine problem is intermittent and I still haven't replace the radio, I just too cheap to justify the $600 price tag.
