what types of repairs should I expect to make on a 2002 legacy with 130k miles
I'm considering purchasing a 2002 legacy wagon awd with 134k miles on it. what kind of
repairs are upcoming or what should I check to make sure has been recently done? ex:
timing belt, alternator, etc...
it's probably best to pay to get it inspected by mechanic familiar with Subaru the little investment will help you in the long run and make sure you're buying a nice carIf you like my answer please rate as helpful and best so my reputation goes up thank you
Agreed, only thing that I can think of is Subaru's at this age and mileage have head gasket issues.
100'000 miles is routine maintenance to change the head gasket as a precaution
I agree. I had a cracked head gasket, oil pan leak and a messed up radiator cap which are common problems with these models. I consider it getting checked by a mechanic.
