My2006 Chevy Equinox overhear

Asked by Feb 05, 2017 at 07:08 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet Equinox LS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Equinox is overheating even after I put in coolant and there is no evidence
of a leak. I can't even drive a mile before the needle turns to very hot and the
light comes on. What can the problem be?

Sounds like air is trapped in the cooling system. Since you added coolant, air in the system and a leak are very real possibilities. Try bleeding the cooling system. HTH. -Jim

Sounds like a Leak in the lower intake valve casket or something...
