I have a 2006 cobalt ls and it was running and starting fine until we had temperatures on the negative. Now it won't start. it will turn over just not start. Tried jumping the battery nothing. Charged the battery nothing. Put heet in the tank and carburetor and still nothing. Checked the fuel line on the motor for pressure and doesn't have pressure. It still will crank but won't start. I don't smell and fuel either. What could it be?

Sounds like a failed fuel pump to me. Can you hear it hum for a few seconds when you turn the key to the run position without trying to start the car? If you do hear it run then it’s fine and the problem is likely the fuel filter.

I have replaced the fuel pump 3 times now. 2 which worked perfectly fine when put in and at first. i was getting fuel to the motor but still no start and after a day or so the battery is drained. well as of today it still will not start and I have replaced the fuel pump 3 times, fuel filter, spark plugs, throttle body, throttle position sensor. accelerator pedal position sensor, temperature control sensor, battery 3 times, and maf sensor and I'm completely stuck as to what else it could be. checked fuses and relays
