You will need to get yourself a manual for the make and model specified, try Autozone or O'Relly Auto parts, they carry them for most vehicles, then read the engine rebuilding section relating to timing belt replacement, there will be illustrations showing exactly what to look for and guidelines and procedures for proper installation and timing .
