I have a 92 Subaru legacy. I crossed the positive and negative terminals on battery and something started to burn. I don't know what to do.

One of the worst things you can do...probably fried the brain. Need someone with expertise to look at it...

Check for blown fuses. Might get lucky and only need to replace a couple.
