Check engine light on 1992 Subaru legecy is still on after all repairs how do I turn it off?

This is an OBD I vehicle. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable for 30 seconds. If after you hook it back up the light comes back on, something else is wrong that needs attention. HTH. -Jim

Repaired everything that was wrong how do I locate wires to reset check engine light. I have all the tools just need to know where under the dash and what wires?
