I have a 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.2 L w/103k miles and it has some kind of issue that I can't figure out...

Okay so, every time I speed up be it low gear or high gear my car lags like
crazy... It feels like not enough gas is being fed to the engine. I asked a buddy
of mine and he said the fuel pump might be bad, others say coils, spark plugs
fuel filter, etc.... Does anyone else had this issue? If so please tell me what the
fuck it is lol. Spark plugs are fine, fuel pump seems fine, and I recently
changed oil. I need answers please help!

No need to have a potty mouth !!!! There are several things that be causing the issue you are having ! An easy test would be to see what your fuel pressure is, it would be checked at the rail with a gauge. If the pressure is good there are several other items that things that could cause the car to lag...MAF Sensor, O2 Sensors, Throttle Position Sensor, catalytic converter could be clogged or knock sensor. There are no codes so it makes it hard. .but sounds more fuel related.

$&%($$@# Do a tune up cause at 103,000 it's time. Sparkplugs, timing belt (if so equipped) filters and fluids. Also...do you have a check engine light that is lit up? If so get the thing scanned and post the codes here.
