Airbag light on dash after changing front driver seat
Changed drivers side front seat. Origanal had air bag. The one I replaced does not have
air bag. Since the air bag connector is not plugged in I have a airbag light on dash. Does
this light mean all air bags are disabled? If so how do I get the light to be satisfied if their
is no airbag connector on replacement seat?
The seat sensor only let,s the car know you are in the seat, but doe,s not disable the air bags, you should be ok with the light being on,
I don't feel comfortable giving advice on whether or not it disables your airbags because I don't know and it is kind of an important topic. However, here is a list of seats that will work for you. What did you get the seat out of? an L with no seat airbags? Here's two links, I don't think they speak to the airbag light and status of airbags but maybe they do: http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f75/want-replace-front- seats-106499/ http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f77/ultimate-subaru-seat- thread-53142/
