Unless your Trans Sport has already been converted to R134a you'll want to have a professional convert it. Your Trans Sport has R12. The last year GM installed R12 in it's new vvehicles was 1993. R12 is forbiddingly expensive and not for sale in the United States unless you're licensed to buy it. One other option is to use a product called Freeze 12. I've never used it but it's supposed to be a direct drop in replacement for R12. Either way I'd recommend a professional handle this repair. HTH. -Jim
