2006 pontiac Grand Prix GXP code: P1811

Put gas n car, drove it 10miles then it
started cutting out(buckling), put sea
foam treatment n it and HEET but
Did not help. Couple days later the
transmission started slipping. Ran
the gas out filled with 93 and it still
does it. Dealership checked for
codes.. Found nothing! I checked for
codes in the history and found
P1811. I cleared it and it still does it:(

Basically this code is saying that the transmission is taking too long to shift from one gear to the next. Apparently GM has a service bulletin about this. It's not a cheap fix unless your transmission fluid is low. HTH. Jim
