will a 3.8 supercharged engine from a 2004 gtp fit a 2006 grand prix gtp supercharged?

Asked by Aug 22, 2015 at 03:29 PM about the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: General

I need a supercharged engine for my 2006 grand prix gtp. I found an engine for a good
price. It is out of a 2004 Grand Prix gtp. Just want to make sure it will fit into the 2006
properly.

And make sure that the intake manifold gaskets have been replaced on the '04 engine. They were notorious for failure. HTH. -Jim
