why does my car still not blow hot air?

changed my thermostat AN COOLENT, let run till running tempture was reached, still no hot air ...i can hear the the thing under the dash opening an closeing ,what can i do ??

There's a core bypass door that has to close. When it's open, air does not go through the core. It is controlled by the temperature switch.
