Car won’t go past 70 mph

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes(most times) when I am driving and
I reach the speed of 60-70mph all of a sudden
my “traction control off” light will pop up and I
won’t be able to accelerate anymore. I can still
push the gas peddle down but I don’t get any
power to accelerate. Does anyone know what
the issue could be?
