i change my cluster and before i had 130,000 miles and now the miles on my cluster are change why???

i just want to know why my miles have change on the car if the miles reader are not on
the cluster it self,,the miles reader are on a separet spot on the car,,how can i get my
original miles back 130k

so on my 2005 pontiac granprix gt my old cluster whent bad and the miles on my old one where 130,000 miles and when i gat this new cluster from ebay i put it on my car and now the miles reads 77,000 miles why is that,,,why did the miles change if the miles reader is not on my cluster ?????????????? please help asap


The replacement cluster is reading what was on the car it came off of. Unfortunately, on less you want to spend the money to correct the mileage discrepancies, you now have a TMU automobile.
