Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP
Supercharge, 2004. It was running perfect
the day I turned it off. I went to start it the
next day and it won't turn over. I replaced
the crank shaft & it still won't start. I even
made sure all of the fuses were good. Any
suggestions?

Switch on the headlights and try to start it. Do the headlights stay nice and bright? Or do they dim, flicker badly, or go out? If they stay bright try starting it in neutral. Could be a bad neutral safety switch. Could also be the starter or a security system problem. If the lights dim, flicker badly, or go out it's the battery or the battery cable connections. HTH. -Jim
