What is the top speed for a 2004 Grand Prix GTP? All stock besides a supercharged engine.
Oh you should be able to keep up with NASCAR cars out on the track...
The computer (PCM) will limit the vehicle's speed to around 105 to 110 MPH. HTH. - Jim
So how can you deactivate that and if you do so, around where does it top out at?
I'm not really sure. Most likely you'd need to have the PCM flashed to remove the speed limiter. A performance shop could possibly do it for you. I've never read about the top speed without the limiter. In the old days, without computers, cars with big V8s would typically top out at around 130 MPH. Since you have the supercharged GTP model I'm sure you could hit that number and probably more. But only if you're going to the track. Don't want you getting killed! HTH. -Jim
Check out ZZ Performance. They're the place to go for modifications to your car.
