2004 pontiac grand prix gt no lights, not starting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I went outside to try and start my car and i noticed
all the lights on it was off. I tried to start it and it
wouldn't even turn over. I tired to jump start it but it
seemed to make it worst because at fight the small
red warning lights were on and then nothing
afterwards. Any tips on what to check or what's
going on would be great please!

sounds like "limp mode " but make sure the batt. terminals are clean and tight , let us know what happens
First thing to have checked is the battery. May be bad, old, shorted out. May have to buy a new battery. Check battery connections, they need to be clean and tight. Once you get the vehicle started, then have the charging system checked to see if it is working properly, may be the reason the battery is dead.
I got a new/older batter and it started up. My battery was the factory battery so i guess it's time was just up. Thanks guys
Your welcome. Make sure the charging system is checked. You can get it done at a auto parts store.
