detach exhaust at doughnut gaskets fuel lines and return lines all plugs wires grounds , radiator and fans , put a brace acrosss the engine undo steering knuckle un bolt top of strut towers then motor and tranny mounts except on k frame , break lines at hubs then drop the motor and tranny right dowm still atached to k frame roll it right out from under the car and start taking the intake and heads off
