Ok I just have to ask. Why you trying to turn with screw driver and not the new cylinder mech? You not trying to steal this car are you?

the security will not let you start it with a screw driver. you have to put in a factory ignition switch and then reset the security.

With a new lock cylinder comes a new transponder key. The new transponder key must be programmed to the car before it will start the car. HTH. -Jim
