2003 Pontiac Grand Prix Left Tail Light not working.

Asked by Canoneos Apr 27, 2018 at 05:22 PM about the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix and the left tail light
won’t work. The brake light and turn signal are in the
same socket and work without a problem. Any ideas?

Did you check that fuse in the diagram and it is wired through headlamp switch. At the rear, brown wire is voltage and black wire is ground. Use a test light and check voltage and ground. Your tag light and rear marker lamps use the same voltage.

Problem solved. Thanks for your help. I am a lucky one. All it ended up being was a lightly corroded socket.
