Sounds like the front stabilizer bar is broken. This is a common problem with these cars. I had to have mine replaced on my '00 Grand Prix GT last year. HTH. -Jim

Can u get me a picture of were that bar is on the car

From my 2000 Grand Prix Factory Shop manual. This is what you're looking for. Each end bolts to the lower control arms just behind the front wheels. HTH. -Jim

Number 15 on the diagram is the front stabilizer bar. You can see how it bolts on behind the front wheels. Also from my 2000 Grand Prix Factory Shop Manual. HTH. -Jim

However... if you've crashed the car a couple of times it could be other things as well. Take it to a good alignment shop and ask for a diagnosis. Tell them what happened to the car and that you're just trying to determine if its worth repairing or not. You don't have to have them fix anything, and you will likely have to pay a few dollars for their opinion, but it could save you hundreds of dollars and hours of frustration. Modern cars don't like being driven off road and over animals.
