Could be any number of things, can you be more specific with what was previously done to the car or other symptoms?

yeah, to vague, but you can start at your Throttle position sensor.

check see if you have gas?

for all we know, you could just have used a new copied key that has no chip. the car will start and shut off in that case. what was the scenario?
