I reset the computer in my car. The car starts but won't go in gear and gauges don't work. What could be the problem?

Just a how. Did You do reset it?

Undid the battery for a time period. Now security light comes on and won't shift into gear and gauges don't work.

It's the anti theft system. Not sure how to reset it. By chance you didn't leave the key in that gets
