I need help, what are somethings I can do to my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix gt, to make him breath and sound better? Budget : 500$ thanks
Josh. Install a Cold Air intake. Some add up to a 20 hp increase. I doubt you'll get a performance exhaust system included with a budget of $500. ...but you can opt for a high performance muffler only which increase output in both hp & decibels! I suggest when the muffler is being installed ...to put larger pipes from the muffler back ...this will really change the sound. Some folks remove the catalytic converter ...but I can't say for sure if that is legal in your area or sound advice. Research is the answer. But I can tell you this much ...the intake & muffler will give you an increase in both parameters ...hp & sound & will definitely be within your budget. Hope this helps

Cool thanks guys, ill probably do each one at a diffrent time since my money is pretty short (starving student) but i really just want the car to last as long as possible.
