I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand prix and my lights work but they are really dim no matter what I do. Ive tried turning them on manually but they are still dim. What could cause that?

Alternator not charging properly.Or bad battery.

2 sources of power for the light are battery and the alternator. either one of those being weak could casue this. more than likely your bulbs are wearing out, try a fresh set of bulbs.

Are your lenses hazy? They're plastic. I had to clean mine. Use a headlight lense restoration kit. Takes about 30 minutes. Is it just the headlights that are dim or are all the lights dim (dash board, etc.)? HTH. -Jim
