2000 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GT (3.8L V.6 ENGINE)
THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS THE CAR KEEPS ACTING LIKE ITS MISFIRING/OR GOING TO DIE.......THE SPEDOMETER BOUNCES BACK AND FORTH AND THEN IT DIES......ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT IT COULD BE? PLEASE HELP
it could be the spark plugs, but also this cars are know to have problems with the upper intake, make sure there's no air leaking from there.
ok well spark plugs are a cheap start :) thank you
Cam and crank sensor problems can cause what you are describing, is the check engine light on or flashing while running? Might be a good idea to have the system live data scanned before it leaves you stranded someplace and have to be towed.
