My 2000 Pontiac grand Prix picks up speed slow. what can the problem be?

Asked by Dec 10, 2013 at 09:43 AM about the 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While i am driving the odometer shifts slow then speeds up making my car feels as if it
will cut off. I had my spark plugs and wires changed and the problem stopped for a couple
of months but now its happening worse this time. What could the problem be?

Is the service engine soon light on? Does it accelerate smoothly or is it "chugging"? Does it heat up? -Jim
