alarm going off

its been fairly cold (teens)and for some reason the alarm goes off for no reason.

Try locking it using the power lock switch instead of the key fob. By doing this the security system is still set but the audible alarm is not. I have the exact same car. The alarm is so sensitive that a heavy rain will set it off. The sensitivity can be adjusted. The owner's manual explains how. HTH. -Jim
