replaced head gaskets 3.8L but I still get water in throttle body
Did you look for cracks when apart?
You could have the cooling system pressure checked.
The plastic upper plenum is cracked. The 3.8s blow intake manifold gaskets (upper and lower). Not head gaskets. When replacing the intake manifold gaskets GM recommends replacing the plastic upper intake manifold assembly (upper plenum) due to cracking. There's a small coolant passage that runs around the throttle body to keep the throttle plate warm and prevent icing in cool damp weather. The 3.8s rarely, if ever, blow a head gasket. HTH. -Jim
