could it be expensive to fix...I dont wnt to get bamboozled by a mechanic cause i am female..please help...educate me on my grand prix..thanks again
Do you have the 3100 engine? A misfire could be expensive or it could be a simple fix. Did the engine light come on? What was the code if so? Has all the maintenance been done? Bad plugs, bad fuel injectors, bad valve could all cause it. Check all the little things first, New air filter, plugs/wires then go from there. I would have a compression test done on it next if the quickies don't help.
