will the transmission from a 1999 pont. gtp bolt up to a 3800 out of a 1987 oldsmobile

It may well bolt up but its doubtful that the electronics will be compatible. Do your homework on this one. Changing a transmission is a lot of work and its nice to have it actually work when you're done
