Heater blows cold

Asked by Mar 24, 2015 at 03:57 PM about the 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 Dr GTP Supercharged Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced my starter in my 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix, now the heater on
the driver side only blows cold air. Is the two issues related? Is there a
simple fix?

The starter and climate control system are not related. Do you have left and right heater control?

I do have dual climate control. It was working before I had the starter replaced. Could it be electrical?

Yes, there are elec. actuators that control air distribution from side to side, one could be bad
