have a 99 pontiac grand prix that cranks but wont start
I checked the fuel pump and the fuel filter and both are working also checked the coil and I was getting spark
Do you have a security light on? The fuel pump might be working but if your injectors aren't spraying, you're staying home.
Fuel may be getting to the injectors but they might not inject any of it, you may want to start by checking the injection system fuses.
how do u check the injectors
A quick way to check if it's gas or spark is to spray a shot of starting fluid in the intake. If it fires, you have spark and no fuel.
Tenspeed beat me to it :) Starting fluid is your friend in cases like these...
well okay got some of that let me try it and if that dont work I thank you for your help I am just trying top save money then to put it in a shop
okay it started with the starting fluid then died I checked the fuel line it has like a air pressure release on it and nothing came out if it is the pump do you have to drop the tank
